tada! mt rushmore. and yes it is super amazing.
So this thing is huge (just in case you didn't quite realize this thing was carved on a mountain). The noses are 20' alone! And here's a picture of Lincoln's eye up close.
Gutzon Borglum, the genius behind all of this, has some crazy ideas behind it. Some of them didn't go through. He had put Jefferson on Washington's other side at first, found it wasn't working out, blew him up, and started again. Yep even geniuses mess up at times.
We went to a cool show at night. First of all the speaker guy? Amazing! Really he was so cool. And seeing these awesome presidents on the mountain all lit up was really a neat thing.
