design friday + random

i haven't done design friday in a while so i figured i'd post a few random designs i just found... and it just goes to prove that design is found everywhere!

 First off, these lovely chicken fried... cookies! I think someone was trying to come up with a manly dessert..

Next off, a personal dream come true, the rocking bed! I have been known to rock in my sleep before (don't worry, it's dying down), now look how much simpler that has just become?

 Are you an artist who is sick of the flies all over your house? Well be careful smashing them, you could probably sell them for big bucks. The Life of Fly-a book made of photography of dead flies! or is it really photography?

And I think some city planners had a bunch of fun with this one. This is what would happen if you dropped eggs from a giant bird over the road...

 as long as they don't go rotten, pretty awesome!

In the news today, a man is feeling pretty guilty for urinating in an Ogden reservoir and caught on tape. Not just because he was caught on tape, but because they had to get rid of 8 million gallons of drinking water. Check it out...

Has anyone else been intrigued by the new Pottermore website coming in October? J.K. Rowling just didn't want things to end after the last movie comes out.

I hung up pictures and set up our bookshelves yesterday! Our apartment is looking so good! Anyone want to party?
