I'm a little behind on the blogging thing... But here is the official scoop.
The nerdy-cool thing is that I found out the "bump" app can now bump to your computer! (yes, I found this out from the Browser). All these pictures came from bumping my phone to my computer! Sometimes, technology is magical.
Eric and I went to the Natural History Museum (thank you GSBS for your amazing skills!) and I kind of developed this weird experience where I just wanted to stare at the dinosaurs for a really long time and I wanted to jump and create earthquakes and I wanted to touch and do everything! If you haven't seen it, it really is a worthwhile experience. (Ashley, can we go to the dinosaur museum please?)
We went to the Bees Game a while ago as well. Which was pretty awesome. As you can see by this highly attractive photo. Eric saved all of our lives by purchasing a yankees blanket (at the bees game) for our freezing bodies. Now, by default, we are all yankees fans.
Remember how the Easter Bunny got Eric and I nerf guns? Well, sometimes I am too good at what I do and I run into walls. Then I get a bruise like so. This bruise reminds me of the rainbow pool at Yellowstone, which reminds me of that Montana billboard that talks about how great Montana is because it's the "gateway" to Yellowstone. Yeah, a whole fifteen minutes. I'm glad that is their claim to fame. Maybe they will have license plates now with my bruise/the rainbow pool on them.
YW's has kept me soooo busy! It is kind of crazy how busy it is. But I love it! I love all the girls in our ward and I am excited for Girl's Camp! But... they have a really high expectation for prank ideas from yours truly. So if any of you want to share some fantastic nice pranks, please pass them along! This is a photo of our Ensign Peak hike.
This is a photo of my model husband. Let me tell you about one of the things he really really likes, it's called learning. Well, actually, I tell him that I really like to learn, and he kinda scoffs at me, but a couple of days ago, I got this text: "Well, I just like learning about sharks..." HA! He does like learning after all! This is him telling me how much he likes shark week, but he also loves documentaries about national parks. Yeah, he is cool.
We had a lovely day celebrating Rachel's wedding. She is my cuz. We went to the Manti Temple and had a great day together! We went to Manti, visited my grandpa, saw Avengers, went to her reception, got a present and went to Garrett's 8th birthday celebration!
I couldn't even get a good picture of him he was that excited! I promise he turned 8 and not six. But we only had 6 candles and 2 matches. He was baptized the next day and told us this was his best birthday yet!
This was also my first Mother's day with a mother-in-law! So thank YOU for letting me marry your son and be part of the family- I really love being part of your family and couldn't ask for better in-laws.
Also, we got to talk to Elder Ames on Mother's day! He is doing great!
This is how Nathan talks on the phone.
I made pizza! Funny story, I have been making pizza with too much salt for years! I am sorry to my college roommates and my husband and everyone I made bread for- I promise it is about a million times better now! I have loved trying new recipes!
My grandpa passed away last week. Everyone has been so kind to our family. The funeral went beautifully and we are all very happy that Grandpa is with his sweetheart again. He has missed her dearly. We are so grateful for the knowledge that we will see him soon, and when we do he will be jumping around and showing off his teeth!
And that is a little bit of our life in a nutshell! Eric is doing great, especially with a break from school! I sure do love that man.
Happy Memorial Day!
