Hi everyone!

First of all, thanks everyone who commented and gave me feedback on my post! I always love to hear it. I'll keep them combined for now and we'll see how it goes later.

Second, I changed my URL address! So if you have it on google reader or something cool, make sure to change it to exaggeratedandauthentic.blogspot.com. Also, I was considering making it, "mouthymills.blogspot.com"... better?

So, over the weekend, we went to Eric's cousin Leah's baptism. It was beautiful! And it's always fun to be with family on special occasions. 

Then, we drove up to Logan for the marching band competition! We both had siblings marching up there, and who doesn't want an excuse to remember our own marching days? You see, Eric and I got to know each other in marching band. It sparks love. 

Here are a couple of band definitions, in case you missed out on what it's all about.

Band: a group of musicians who get together to upset the orchestra members.

Band Director: A person who organizes the noise. (Assistant band director: A person who organizes less important noise.)

Beat: What music students do to each other with their instruments.

Dr. Beat: A form of cruel and unusual punishment (violation of the 8th Amendment) that is bestowed over a loudspeaker when working on already-learned music.

Memorization: Learning the cool part of the song instead of your own

And yes, this is how we spend our weekends. And visiting friends in Logan, of course!

By the way, the canyon was absolutely gorgeous! Reds, yellows, orange, and some green. Amazing! Of course, if you ask my poor color deficient husband, he thinks it was just green. Just like he thought my hair was gray when I gave it highlights. 

On Sunday, we were able to watch the Brigham City Temple dedication. And it was amazing! I'm so glad that President Boyd K Packer was able to dedicate it and be a special part of Brigham City's temple.

By the way, L. Tom Perry conducted, and we saw him an Aggie Ice Cream the night before! Guess that is proof alone that Aggie ice cream is the best.
