it's been a while but we are going to start this year out right!
we'll start off with this sunken bridge. This is a bridge across a moat of a historic Dutch fort. It's also known as the "Moses Bride." And really, if you don't want those egyptians getting across, I'm sure you could just flood it. Pretty cool though. Check it out here.
Here is a cool idea of a planter and fish tank all in one. Fishes turn their eaten remnants into nutrients while the water fed to the plant is filtered and becomes clean for the firsh. Pretty cool idea. This one is only an idea and still has some kinks to work out, but definitely a cool idea.
This is an office interior for Bilgili Holding in Turkey. It is located on the terrace floor of a parking garage building in Istanbul. The project aimed to satisfy the needs of the office without intervening the existing construction. See more pictures and info here.
Ok.. then I went a little crazy with some swings. But really these are cool! Check out more ideas here. I mean can you imagine swinging around the dinner table with your family? Or swinging to sleep? I mean I rock myself to sleep already, might as well make it more exciting.
Andreas Franke decided to turn the second largest artifical reef into an underwater art gallery. The artist took photos of the landscape inside the Vandenberg, a 523-foot-long ship and then added people to these scenes. It's really pretty interesting. Check it out here.
And just because I am wanting a vacation, check out this Shore Vista Boat Dock by Bercy Chen Studio. This cylindrical boathouse has a defining waterfall. I love the overall shape and the openness.
Happy weekend!
