We even took them to Sacrament Meeting for the first time. Although we definitely held them in our arms the whole time and were terrified they would start screaming. We survived!
They started to show more interest in things like mirrors and music.
And swings! What a life saver.
We took them to my doctor appointment so they could meet the wonderful doctor who took care of them and delivered them. So grateful for Dr Walker!
Tummy Time! They really don't like it, but once in a while they are okay with it for a few pictures.
This shows how we slept for a while. Both of them on my lap in that lovely recliner I called home. Don't get me wrong, I love cuddles with my girls all night long, but really, sleeping in my own bed has been glorious! So happy when they started sleeping in their cribs more at 2 months.
We took the girls to meet their great grandma Gussy. Love this picture of Adelyn smiling at her! Adelyn's middle name is Glade, named after her.
And with Oakley! Oakley's middle name, Ila, is after Eric's grandma.
On the verge of tears... heart breaking!
We like to play dress up. Love all the outfits we were given at showers!
We got out of the house a little more, and it was wonderful! We went to the park, went to a baptism, visited grandparents, and started to get the hang of travelling with two.
We went on our first little road trip to Eric's cousin's wedding in Idaho. Travelling is a much bigger deal with twins! We've already outgrown our car! Between two car seats and a big stroller in the trunk, we were grateful to borrow my parents bigger vehicle for this little road trip.
We got them all bundled up and ready to go. Here is one of my favorite pictures just as we were about to head out.
Outside the Temple
My mom made these beautiful dresses for the girls to wear- they are so perfect!
The beautiful bride! I'm so glad Adelyn didn't spit up all over her...
Eric had his first daddy daughter dance with them. Here he is with Oakley.
And with Adelyn... she was asleep in the car seat and we didn't dare wake her, so lucky her, this is their first dance!
