(it's way more complicated than i thought)
we were given the assignment to come up with a concept for a government building in salt lake.
my wonderful team and i were awe inspired to choose a hive as our concept.
it fit perfectly - busy, working, effective, productive, queen bee/goal, efficient, effective, circulation, unity, determined, the list goes on and on
we drew pictures to illustrate our ideas and everything.
we get up and present our concept. we're pretty confident with ourselves at this point. i mean i felt like we had nailed it and was excited to prove something especially since our professor is kinda crazy and tends to give more criticism than compliments. ok really she never gives compliments.her response at the end of our presentation? "almost."
and why would i expect any differently?
yep. turns out she was a bee lover in her former life and thought everyone knew about bees and how hives don't actually look the way we thought they did.
what have i learned? to be successful at concepts, i better know a lot about bees. and everything else that exists in the world.
That's weird. So what do bee hives actually look like?
