my death

so this week has been intense. last night, us humans had to guard our bases while the zombies charged at us screaming all vicious-like, but i still managed to live. but today, that human life ended.

my shift at work had ended. i had a group meeting at the library. there were only two of us humans left working there and i happened to know one of the zombies was waiting for me. so i snuck outside, slowly peeking through the door.

then i saw him. yep there he was crouching away, just waiting for victims. luckily i had my trusty socks ready to stun him. yep he was scared, but only just scared enough to keep his distance and still follow me. yes, he still followed me!

so we were walking along like good friends when there's another zombie up ahead and he calls to him! what??? so now i'm getting barricaded by two zombies in the parking lot between cars. i throw a sock, miss, throw another sock and get him a split second before he tags me. A narrow escape but it's not enough.

evil fellow employee zombie keeps following me. only he's braver now that he's seen how bad my throwing is. he whips out his cell phone, starts dialing his zombie friends and they start coming. they start coming fast.

so i start running to the nearest building, running backwards of course because i'm not taking my eyes off of him. i make it to the building only to see that there are two exits-where i came in and straight ahead to a death trap.

his zombie friends cover the exits. more zombie friends come inside. we chat for a while. they deceive me into thinking i actually want to become a zombie. what crazy brainwashing. at this point i know i'm done for.

i am at the back door, my hand still grasping the handle. i'm told i have 5 seconds. i jolt forward, my backpack slows me down. now they're coming from behind and up ahead. suddenly i've been tagged. but not by one zombie, more like 5.

you see, i'm too cool to be tagged by one. they needed like 15 to finally capture me and feed on me. i was definitely a valuable human.

and i'm going to be a valuable zombie too... watch out humans. i'm hungry.

p.s. when you search "humans vs zombies usu" on google images you get this:

yep. its my face as the second image. wow. i don't know what to say.

  1. I'm sorry that you got turned into a zombie. This never would have happened if you had stocked up on guns 'n ammo. It's always useful to have a couple of Nerf guns around. Congratulations on your high ranking image search. You have achieved what many dream about but few attain.

  3. Kend! I am SO glad you have an awesome turning into a zombie story - I admit it's cooler than mine . . . except I have an amazing immune system that almost beat the zombie infection . . . just sayin'.
