top ten hand holding techniques

10. the pinky hold - yes we know all you chickens do this. you just start sliding your hand over to theirs... slowly.... ok touch pinkies! ok act like you haven't noticed that your pinkies are touching... take a break.. breathe. congratulate yourself, give yourself a pep talk, take the next step.. if you dare..

9. the undeniable - ok take it from me, if your hand is outstretched, on his knee, and palm up and he still doesn't grab your hand, it's not because he hasn't noticed it.

8. the clingy - once you've got him, never let him go. i don't care if you have to rip off his arm to keep his hand. finders keepers.

7. the trick or treat - you know how they say food is the way to a man's heart? well it's also the way to his hand... see that bowl of delicious goodness between you? just what if you accidentally reached for something the same time he did...

6. out-of-your-reach grab - you know when your arm is suddenly too short and you can only reach his forearm? yeah its a problem. especially when he falls asleep. stretching only gets you so far.

5. the trophy - with this one it doesn't really matter how you grab their hand as long as you show it off. make sure everyone knows you are a winner!

4. the backpack - just latch your hand on the back of his and you will go everywhere his goes! whether its driving stick shift, reading, or eating, you name it, this technique works!

3. grab bag - this happens when you grab so fast you don't realize what you are getting. it could be perfect or it could be mismatched spaghetti. but no matter how it turns out, don't let go, you never know if you'll get their hand again!

2. secret arm folding technique - if you don't want people to know that you are folding arms, this will definitely keep it a secret. no one can tell! unless you're looking a little too happy or giving sly looks..

1. the magic of imagination - for those of you who are too afraid to make a move, just grab your own hand behind your back and imagine that you are holding their hand. sparks may or may not fly. if you've seen pushing daisies, you'll better understand this one.
