design friday

hello friends! this is the Thiang Residence. It is made of wood, glass, and stone and for 3 generations! Located in Melbourne Australia.

love the dining room

and i think i would be happy cooking everyday in a kitchen like this.

this is the oblique and check shelf. awesome right? flat on top and you can lean books against the side on the inside. by BuiltIn Studio.

this is the Karlusic Residence, also in Melbourne, Australia by Hirsch Bednar Associates. check out. the design is actually all based off of a japanese maple in the front.

here is the romantic and comfortable rocking chair by Markus Krauss. some of you may know about my weird...rocking habits. wouldn't this be perfect? and i just love it. a lot.

this is the querosene house in brazil. not going to lie, my favorite part of this is the giant library all along the wall. amazing right? this wall houses 7500 books! dream come true!

the blomp coat hanger. you can hang your coat over it like normal, but its also a perfect place to just throw in your keys! brilliant i say.

ok so you might be thinking i've been a bit obsessed with australian homes in this post.. well here's another one. i guess i'm just going to have to travel to australia someday and check them out in person! this one is in sydney by bruce stafford architects. i included a lot of pictures just because i love it. k3 house:
