Meet Slinky

this is my puppy dog slinky, aka stinky. (take my word for it, its a well earned nickname)

she is named after the toy story dog because she sometimes looks like she stretches out while she waddles, of course that was before her belly started stretching down instead of out.

she is13 in human years and 96 in dog years.

along with old age comes a lot of things, with no exception to dogs. she's gotten grayer and more wrinkly.

she has become deaf (i've tried to teach her sign language and used a higher voice to call for her but to no avail)

i can feed her anything and she'll basically eat it because her taste buds are disappearing.

she snores while she's awake.

when i'm about to sneak her something from the dinner table she has no depth perception and looks down at the ground just before i give it, thus giving her lots of gravy spots on her head.

she has no scent. even when i feed her cheese (her absolute favorite) she can't find it unless she's looking straight at it.

her favorite pastime is licking your feet.

on a good day she manages to waddle all the way around the block.

she loves when i jump right in front her. based on all of the above facts, she never suspects a thing.

and she's a cancer survivor and been through a slipped disk. yeah, she pretty much rocks. hard core.
