i went to lagoon this last saturday and these are the things i have experienced, will always remember, and maybe you too.
1. the gum wall. located in the tower at the spider. go ahead and add to the growing mass! starts up again every summer.
2. playing the awkward eye contact game with the people coming towards you on the sky ride. always a hit!
3. making the transferred, lopsided drunk walk, from the turning thing at rattlesnake rapids to normal ground. i've almost mastered it!
4. racing through a saturday's crowd on the lazy river. when you're kicking and pushing off of everyone else, you get going pretty fast! (jacob, i'll beat you next time!)
5. going to the music concert. they're actually pretty good most of the time! altho, most of the time they are also pretty awkward to watch.
6. seeing how many flying objects you can catch on wicked. yes i have saved a man's hat. yes i am a true hero.
7. having a screaming contest on the white roller coaster and then seeing how long you can go before getting a brain freeze with those amazing frozen lemonades next door.
8. keeping your arms up on the colossus the whole time. first of all this makes you a rebel, secondly, concentrating on keeping your arms up helps you not black out.
9. the tilt a whirl and all other spinning rides. seriously the best. especially when squishing your little sister.
10. my personal favorite: the matching tattoo couple. yep i saw a couple with a matching tattoo across their chests with a giant heart and banner that says, "your heart forever." that is true love right there.
That all sounds really fun! I haven't been to Lagoon in years. I need to go back sometime.
